KNLTB Spring Competition 2026
Whatever your level between playing strength 2 and 9, it is possible to play in competitions with DDV, even if you have never played in competition before. The Competition Tennis Committee (CWT) does its best to find a team for everyone. Every year, DDV registers competition teams for the KNLTB competitions on Tuesday mornings, Friday mornings, Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. There is also the option to register DDV teams on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. All available competition formats are listed on the registration form .
When compiling the DDV teams, the promotions and relegations of the past season are taken into account. The DDV team rights earned on the courts last season should therefore apply in the 2026 season. The committee also takes into account individual levels and personal preferences, as well as the KNLTB competition regulations, to form the DDV teams.
Has your team dropped out, do you only want to play doubles, have you improved significantly lately, and/or do you simply prefer a different competition format? Let us know your personal preferences. The committee can search for the most suitable team for you and, if necessary, register entirely new teams in a different competition.

Competition schedule and match dates 2026
The competition will be played from March 31 to June 19, 2026.
When registering for a competition, take the match schedule into careful consideration. Competition players are expected to be available for their team on both match days and any make-up days. DDV teams are responsible for showing up for all matches, and no-shows will be fined by the KNLTB. If your schedule does not indicate that you can be available on all dates, consider signing up for the substitute list so that you can play when you are actually available. There is always a high demand for reserve players.

- Friday evening HD-DD : Apr 3 , Apr 17, May 8 , May 22 & Jun 5. Catch-up days: May 1 , May 14 & Jun 19 .
- Friday evening Mixed Doubles + 8&9 competition : Apr 10 , Apr 24 , May 15 , May 29 , Jun 12. Catch-up days: May 1, May 14 & Jun 19 .
- Saturdays : Apr 4, Apr 11, Apr 18, May 9, May 16, May 23 & May 30. Catch-up days: May 2, May 14, Jun 6.
- Sundays : 6 Apr*, 12 Apr, 19 Apr, 10 May, 17 May, 25 May* & 31 May. Make-up days: 3 May, 14 May, 7 Jun.
*April 6 and May 25 fall on a Monday

Additional information & conditions:
Minimum age is 17 years
Teams are formed based on a minimum of 6 players per team.
All players must register individually. This cannot be done by the captain. We assume that players who do not register are not available to play in the competition.
If you register for the spring competition, we assume that you are also available on the match days (7 match days and 3 possible make-up days).
The composition and order of the DDV teams are determined by the committee in accordance with the rules of the KNTB competition regulations.
Account is being taken of the DDV team rights earned on the courts last season; these will in principle be retained in the 2026 competition.
Due to the high level of interest, participation cannot be guaranteed.
Players for whom no suitable team can be found will be given priority in the 2026 autumn competition season.
There is also an option to sign up only for the substitute list.
Reserve players wanted
There is always a high demand for reserve players. Consider this option if your schedule does not allow for full availability in the league. You will play matches every now and then when your schedule permits, and it is a great way to meet different DDV teams.
Competition fee 2026
Veterans Tuesday mornings and Friday mornings: €22 per player
Seniors Friday Evenings: €25 per player
Seniors Saturday & Sunday: €38 per player
There are no costs associated with registering on a substitute list.
The competition fee includes the KNLTB team fee and tennis balls. A DDV competition meal is also included for the Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday home matches.
Due to potentially rising costs of tennis balls and other unforeseen organizational expenses, a small indexation of the competition fee may take place before the start of the competition.
The DDV competition fee will be collected per player via direct debit shortly before the start of the competition.

The CWT cannot do it alone, and we need the help of DDV members to help organize and facilitate the competition for everyone within the club. Let us know how you can contribute.

KNLTB Spring competition 2026
